Wellbeing yoga Classes

Accessible to all ages and abilities, my wellbeing yoga classes are designed to help you improve your wellbeing by releasing tension from your body and calming your mind.

These classes include various elements from yoga:

  • Asanas: Yoga poses are designed to help your body shed the stress that is inherent to our busy lives. I teach each pose in stages so that everyone can find a stage that is comfortable for them.
  • Sequences: Carefully designed sequences designed to systematically release tension and increase the flexibility of the spine. The spine being the central axis of our body, if we can keep our spine healthy and pain free, the whole body ends up feeling a lot better for it.
  • Breathwork: Breathing techniques are used to help you release stress and tune it to the present moment. Bridging the gap between body and mind, the breath is our greatest tool in our toolkit to overall wellbeing.
  • Relaxation: No yoga class is complete without a 15-20 minutes relaxation. The relaxations are designed to help your body settle at the end of each session and really integrate the benefits of what you have done during the class.

Timetable of classes

Monday, 7.00-8.30pm – Wellbeing classes for women

Suitable for beginners. This is a general wellbeing class specifically designed to help woman achieve balance and wellbeing with a relaxed body and a calmer mind.

It is perfect if you experience anxiety, stress, tension (especially around the spine), want to improve your flexibility or have difficulties sleeping.

Where: Rhode Minnis Village Hall, Chapel Lane, Rhode Minnis, CT4 6XR

Fees: £12 pay as you go; £10/class when booking for a term (terms are usually 6 weeks long)

Thursday, 8.00-9.00am – Wellbeing classes for women

Suitable for beginners. This is a general wellbeing class specifically designed to help woman achieve balance and wellbeing with a relaxed body and a calmer mind.

It is perfect if you experience anxiety, stress, tension (especially around the spine), want to improve your flexibility or have difficulties sleeping.

Being run on zoom, it is the perfect class for you if you want the convenience of a yoga class without leaving the comfort of your home or if you don’t have a local class.

Also, it is ideal if you can’t commit to a weekly class as you will receive the recording of any class that you miss.

Fees: £10 pay as you go; £8.50/class when booking a block of 4 consecutive classes
